forever student, wannabe geek and con-history junior maven grazing at backcountry.com. i’m married to the beautiful and amazingly patient ambrie gordon-carroll. we have a fantastic little star named shaeffer; he has two black puppies (cash & nixon).
i like cycling, camping, skiing/snowboarding, running, rugby and golf. now that i work at backcountry.com i have a feeling i’ll be enjoying a lot of other activities and adventures.
i enjoy reading (lots).
i love traveling, really who doesn’t? i was born in joberg south africa and have spent time in england, canada and several states here in the US (utah, washington, minnesota arizona & virginia). if i have my way the next year or so might have us in costa rica or bay area or san diego. we’ll be trekking to the garden island of kauai in march. w00t!
